CSEIFZ Vice Chairperson and Executive Director of HANZ, Ms. Nakiwe Simpungwe, expressed condolences to the family of the late Mr. Sakala, who was allegedly murdered at a campaign centre in Magoye during the night. ZASAA says the expected surge in political gatherings, road convoys and temporary event structures presents serious health and safety risks that require immediate and coordinated planning by all stakeholders involved in campaign activities. ADEG Executive Director Gideon Musonda expressed concern over the fatal violence in Kaputa District, where a UPND supporter was killed, and the death of a driver for an independent candidate in Magoye, Mazabuka District, a case that remains under investigation by the Zambia Police Service.
