Lusaka, Zambia24 — 21-10-2026 — HOPe Africa, a US-based humanitarian organisation, has launched a global appeal for medical equipment, medicines and corporate partnerships to improve healthcare access in underserved African communities.

In a statement issued from Kansas City, Missouri, Executive Director Dr Francis Fagjot John said the organisation was seeking support from hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, equipment manufacturers and clean-energy businesses.

The appeal includes ultrasound machines, X-ray units, scanners, patient monitors, pulse oximeters and first-aid supplies.

HOPe Africa is also seeking non-expired medicines, multivitamins, painkillers, prescription and reading glasses, hearing aids and other essential medical supplies.

The organisation is further appealing for solar panels and battery storage systems to help health facilities in areas affected by unreliable electricity supply.

Dr John said HOPe Africa would also train local healthcare workers, technicians and community members to install, maintain and monitor donated equipment and power systems.

He said the organisation tracked donated items from collection to delivery to promote accountability and ensure that supplies reached their intended destinations.

Beyond donations, HOPe Africa is inviting international companies to partner with it in market research, consultancy, corporate representation and stakeholder engagement in developing markets.

The organisation said qualifying donations could benefit from tax-deductible or tax-exempt status under its United States 501(c)(3) classification. It also offers collection services for corporate donors and hospital networks.

HOPe Africa has urged hospitals, businesses and other potential partners to support its humanitarian work through donations and strategic partnerships.

Interested organisations can contact the organisation through its website, hopeafricaintl.org.
