Spark Systems Limited Donates K100,000 towards ICTAZ AGM

Lusaka, Zambia24 (27-03-2024) -The Information and Communications Technology Association of Zambia (ICTAZ) received a K100,000 contribution from Spark Systems Limited for its upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Speaking at a press briefing, Mazuba Hankuku, Chairperson for Membership, expressed appreciation for the donation and stressed the significance of industry collaboration and investment in technology's future.

Hankuku acknowledged Spark Systems Limited and its country manager, Annmarie Morin, highlighting the vital role of collaboration in navigating technological advancements and driving innovation within the ICT sector.

He mentioned that the AGM, scheduled in the near future, will serve as a platform for reflection, dialogue, and strategic planning.

Hankuku emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration in overcoming obstacles and fostering sector growth, recognizing members' commitment.

Spark Systems Limited's contribution demonstrates industry support for ICTAZ's mission, strengthening collective efforts to advance sector goals.

During the same briefing, Morin informed journalists that the donation reflects the company's commitment, primarily to bolster the IT industry and its stakeholders.

Morin encouraged other IT players to support the industry, emphasizing the role of organizations in providing essential guidance.

"Our focus on innovation, mutual support, and networking aims to establish the tech industry as a key player," she stated.

Morin also noted that Spark Systems Limited collaborates with leading partners such as Oracle, IBM, and Microsoft to offer technical guidance to the industry.

"We are proud partners of Microsoft, providing a range of Microsoft solutions and security features like firewalls," she mentioned.

Morin highlighted that Spark Systems Limited has a team of certified engineers available in Lusaka and Kitwe, possessing expertise in various areas.
