Phiri, SC, has warned prosecutors against giving special treatment to people because of their wealth, influence, political connections or social standing, saying justice must be applied equally to all. Mr Phiri said during the launch of the National Prosecution Authority (NPA) Service Charter and the commemoration of NPA Day that the Charter must translate into the way prosecutors and other NPA officers conduct themselves when dealing with victims, witnesses, accused persons and members of the public.
