Lusaka, Zambia24  -- (12-05-2026) --- The Zambia Compulsory Standards Agency (ZCSA) has strengthened its quality monitoring operations through the induction of three newly recruited Domestic Quality Monitoring (DQM) inspectors.

According to the Agency’s official Facebook page, the newly inducted inspectors—Kabwe Chilufya Lupiya, Elizee Kayembe, and Chalwe Luswili—underwent an orientation session with the Corporate Communications Unit as part of efforts to enhance coordination and improve field operations.

The session was facilitated by Manager for Communications and Public Relations Brian Hatyoka and Public Relations Officer Onishias Maamba, who briefed the inspectors on the unit’s role in supporting effective communication and operational efficiency within the Agency.

The Corporate Communications Unit is responsible for public relations, media relations, stakeholder engagement, corporate branding, media monitoring, as well as events and protocol management.

As part of the induction, the inspectors received ZCSA-branded materials, including caps, shirts, notebooks, and newsletters, to support their work in the field and reinforce institutional identity.

ZCSA, operating under the motto “With Your Safety in Mind,” says the induction is aimed at improving coordination between departments and strengthening the delivery of quality monitoring services.

The Agency is mandated to enforce compulsory standards to protect consumers and ensure product safety in Zambia.
