ZEHEST Boosts Youth Entrepreneurship with Skills Development Programs
Lusaka, Zambia – January 26, 2025
The Zambian Empowerment Hub for Entrepreneurship and Skills Training (ZEHEST) has reaffirmed its commitment to advancing youth entrepreneurship as a key driver of economic growth in Zambia.
Speaking in Lusaka, ZEHEST Visionary Leader and Founder, Clarence Moonde Muzyamba, emphasized the organization’s dedication to equipping young Zambians with the tools needed to launch and sustain successful businesses.
"Entrepreneurship is a catalyst for economic transformation," said Mr. Muzyamba.
"Our programs equip youth with practical skills, innovative thinking, and access to resources to succeed in competitive markets."
ZEHEST’s initiatives focus on entrepreneurship training, mentorship, and access to funding for small businesses and startups. By fostering innovation and self-reliance, the organization aims to build a robust entrepreneurial ecosystem that contributes to national development.
He said the organization partners with local and international stakeholders to ensure young entrepreneurs receive the support needed to turn ideas into viable enterprises.
It also integrates environmental sustainability and good governance into its programs to promote holistic development.
Mr. Muzyamba encouraged Zambian youth to embrace entrepreneurship as a pathway to self-reliance and to leverage ZEHEST’s resources.
“The future of Zambia’s economy lies in the hands of its youth, and through entrepreneurship, we can build a nation of innovative, self-sufficient individuals,” he added.
Muzyamba said through these initiatives, ZEHEST aims to create a culture of entrepreneurship that generates jobs and drives long-term economic growth in Zambia.
